Artist's Description

This depicts frame 352 (Verified Frame Count VFC-354) of the Patterson–Gimlin film and the face of Bigfoot (affectionately called "Patty") has been digitally enhanced to improve clarity in this one frame. The original Patterson–Gimlin footage was shot in 1967 in Northern California and has never been successfully refuted or debunked. This film is accepted as one of the proofs of the existence of Bigfoot by most enthusiasts.

The footage was filmed alongside Bluff Creek, a tributary of the Klamath River, about 25 logging-road miles northwest of Orleans, California, in Humboldt County. The film site is roughly 38 miles south of Oregon and 18 miles east of the Pacific Ocean.

The film is 23.85 feet long (preceded by 76.15 feet of "horseback" footage), has 954 frames, and runs for 53 second at 18 fps. The date was October 20, 1967, according to the filmmakers. This is frame 352, when Patty looks back at Roger Patterson and Bob Gimlin before walking off into the woods.
